Family Racing History

I was born into a racing family from motorcycles to dirt to ashphalt my family has been into racing for many generastions. Most recently with my dad racing mini stocks at Peterbrough Speedway from 2011-2013. Before him my papa raced motorcycles at what is now known as the practice track at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park for a short period of time. My dads uncles raced as well mainly his uncle Jim (Jim Toms) who raced on the dirt at Brighton Speedway in the street stock and late model classes. On my moms side both my Grammie and my Grandpa tried there hand in racing in the states at a few tracks but mainly Riverside Speedway.

My Racing Background

I started racing when I was 8 years old in go karts at Kawartha Kart Club racing in the cadet class and finished third in my rookie season. The next year not being a rookie any more I had to then move up into the Novice class where I had a good year leading points for most of the year until we had problems late in the season finishing second in points. Then Kawartha Kart Club ended up closing up so we then decided to make the move to Toronto Kart Club where we did very few races in  our first season with the club. The year after I made the move up to junior heavy and had very good competition and we did not get the results that we hoped for but still had a decent season. I then toke off 2 years due to covid but we decided that we were gonna make the switch to stock car racing buying the truck that we race now in late 2019 and working on it all through out covid and we made 2022 our rookie season in the class we had lots of troubles all year but we learned alot and it was a quite successful rookie year as we won mot improved driver and got 6th in points.
